About Me
My name is Omar Baha, and I live in Dunlap, Illinois. I go to Dunlap High School where I show kids my awesome childhood toys, and everyone gets excited. At least, I think they do. Growing up, I didn't have time for friends and nonsense when I had amazing materialistic possessions to keep me busy. Alright maybe I'm exaggerating some of this stuff, but what I will say is that I had a lot of toys when I was younger and played with them constantly. Whether it was a toy from a show I watched or something in the Walmart kids aisle, I loved toys. I'm not any toy maker, but I've done a lot of research onto these toys and their history/origins. I know the other media forms they have been in and their popularity/sales. While I may not know every single aspect of them, I am deeply attached with these toys. If there's one thing I know, it's that these toys mean a lot to me and I have a considerable amount of appreciation for them. As a senior in high school soon going off to college, I think a lot about the next step into adulthood and reminisce about how simple my childhood was and when I was actually happy sometimes. These toys truly helped me have fun, get my mind off things, and make friends. A lot of people might look at this as some kind of joke, and that's fine because I want to break out some childhood into my readers. I think the purpose of my blog and these toys are to bring smiles to people who aren't aware of some of these toys and to remind them of how simple their childhood once was.
